What is CoolSculpting?
CoolSculpting is a nonsurgical option for stubborn fat pockets that won’t seem to budge no matter how much you diet or exercise. CoolSculpting uses a technology that freezes fat and reduces fat pockets on your body.
Where on my body can I get CoolSculpting done?
CoolSculpting is typically performed on the abdomen, flanks, or under the chin. It can also be performed on the arms, thighs and back.
What can I expect if I decide to get CoolSculpting done?
First, your provider will create a customized treatment plan for you based on your unique goals. During the treatment, you can expect to feel “pulling, tugging, mild pinching, intense cold, tingling, stinging, aching, and cramping at the treatment site”. Over time, the treatment area will likely go numb and these sensations will decrease. Most patients don’t need any downtime following treatment.
