Our team is thrilled to share some exciting news! After assessing the needs of our patients and exploring opportunities to better serve our Lowcountry residents, we have decided to open a satellite office in West Ashley.

Adam Sperduto, MD, one of the practice’s three founders, will be seeing patients on Fridays between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at 2291 Henry Tecklenburg Drive. He will primarily focus on performing Mohs Micrographic surgery at this satellite location.

Mohs surgery is the most effective treatment for most types of skin cancer with a success rate of up to 99 percent. The procedure involves surgically removing the different layers of skin cancer tissue until healthy, cancer-free tissue around the tumor is reached.

Dr. Sperduto completed his Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology fellowship at Surgical Dermatology Group and specializes in the treatment of all types of skin cancers in patients of all ages.

“Living along the coast, we encounter a lot of cases of varying types of skin cancer,” explained Dr. Sperduto, a board-certified dermatologist. “Being able to provide the Mohs surgery service at both our main office in North Charleston and at this satellite office will allow us to satisfy a real need for our West Ashley patients.”

To schedule an appointment with Dr. Sperduto in the new Charleston Dermatology satellite office, call 843-872-3015 or make a request online.

“We continue to look for opportunities to provide convenient, quality care for our patients,” said Sperduto. “With offices now in North Charleston, Mount Pleasant and West Ashley, we are excited to be able to reach even more patients than ever before.”
